What is an Service Warranty Protection Plan?
A Service Warranty Protection Plan or Service Contract is similar to the warranty originally provided by the manufacturer of your equipment. What is replacement protection?
Replacement Protection is comprehensive protection that insures that if we cannot repair your air conditioner, water heater, or appliances, we will replace them. Certain exclusions apply.
When can I purchase a new Service Warranty Protection Plan?
You have the option to purchase a Service Warranty Protection Plan at any time after your first year manufacturers warranty has expired regardless of the age of your equipment. Coverage is available on your air conditioner, refrigerator, range, dishwasher, water heater, garbage disposal, washer, dryer, pool heater, plumbing and electrical.
How much does it cost?
The cost is very affordable and is based on the actual age of each piece of equipment that you wish to cover. We have service protection plans for as little as $99 a year covering six appliances.
When does coverage expire?
All Service Warranty Protection Plans expire one year from date of purchase and may be renewed at the end of each year.

Is ECM licensed?
We are licensed and bonded to perform air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and appliance repairs and installations. We are also licensed by the State of Florida Department of Insurance to sell Service Warranty Protection Plans.
 | Is my Service Warranty guaranteed?
To guarantee our Service Warranty contracts the State requires the following: a) We must maintain a $100,000 cash deposit with the State of Florida. b) 25% of all monies collected are deposited into a special escrow account for the duration of the contract. c) We must submit quarterly financial reports to the State.

Air conditioning calls are guaranteed same day service provided you call ECM prior to 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
Do I have to wait all day for service?
No, ECM offers you 3 convenient time schedules: 8-12, 11-3, & 2-6 pm.
Is an ECM Service Warranty Protection Plan transferable?
YES, if you sell your home during the term of your contract, it may be transferred to the new homeowner.
Can I cancel my Service Warranty Protection Plan?
YES, you may cancel your contract at any time prior to expiration. In the event the contract is cancelled by the customer, the return of premium shall be based upon 90% unearned pro-rata premium less any claims for service rendered.
Do I have to pay a deductible?
ECM offers protection plans with or without a deductible. A deductible contract will naturally have a lower up-front cost, but you will pay a $45 service trade fee per repair.
